Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Colchester Voice Academy founder Leigh Martyn Thomas had been running the successful LMT Singing School for over a decade. A name change coincided with Leigh moving her practice online in April 2020.
By moving the practice online working with clients of all ages on Zoom for 16 months, Leigh provided group classes, expert guest speakers via the Vocal Freedom Podcast and started to teach globally, creating an online community.
2021 became a pivotal year, with a restructure, moving back to in person lessons and productions and eventually
this lead to a further rebrand in September 2022 to reflect additional coaching services. Leigh’s practice can be found at vocalfreedomcoach.co.uk.
