Free daily 20 minute warm ups for all members of Colchester Voice Academy.

Varied routines daily include:

 

  • SOVT Exercise Class

  • Warm Up and Riff Out

  • Breath and Meditation

  • Stretch and Release class

  • Dance Class with Jack Fielding

  • Dance and stretch with Phoebe Thomas

 * Our warm up classes run in line with our weekly classes each term for 10 weeks.   For two weeks each term the 10.30-11.00am times are open for consultations and Q&A zoom sessions for prospective students. 

Professional voice users can also book 1-2-1 lessons Monday to Friday during the entire term time.

In this day and age, people live busy lives. Research has shown that happy contented people often dedicate time every day for self-care.  

Our warm up classes are designed to provide you a space to work on various disciplines.  You can join our free classes from any device. For some classes you may want to have enough space to lie down, a yoga mat or towel, a soft pillow/cushion although these are not essential items for all classes.

Class schedules will be forwarded to your email once a week, so you can choose which ones you would like to participate in.  Each class has maximum capacity of 99 participants in our Zoom Meeting Room or will be a live broadcast via our YouTube Channel.

Professionals in the voice and theatre industries often develop their own daily practices.  We like to include elements of the following in our classes:

  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Keep-fit
  • Massage, stretch and release
  • Singing Voice exercises
  • Movement or dance exercise
  • Acting / Spoken Voice exercises
